Asian snacks & desserts at Foo concepts, Rotterdam

If you love food and you have been to Asia, you know there is a lot of diversity, but also interesting snacks and desserts. Do you like matcha flavour and have you tried egg waffles before? More and more cafes are serving Asian desserts and snacks here in the Netherlands. One of them is Foo Concepts. They opened their cafe in July 2017 and they have matcha and egg waffles! I have already visited them many times. Since they opened they keep developing their menu and experiment with different flavours. Foo concepts is an Asian fusion lifestyle cafe situated on the Hoogstraat in Rotterdam. This street is full of restaurants, little shops and cafes. I hardly come on this street, so...

One day trip to Bratislava

Hi everyone! It has been a while since we have posted, but here is a post about Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. During this summer, I decided to visit Central Europe instead of the usual Western Europe. The reason behind this is simply because I wanted to explore the more quiet, relaxing side of Europe that is rich in historical monuments and pretty castles. Since Bratislava looked pretty tiny on the map, I decided that staying one entire day would be sufficient to discover most parts of the city. Japanese desserts in London

If you have read our previous post about London you would know that we were in Chinatown in Soho. We have tried out quite some Chinese restaurants in the area since travelling with Chinese parents means that at least one meal a day had to be Asian food (only rice can make the stomach happy haha).  The funny story is how we came across this Japanese café. To reach Chinatown, we have to cross this wide street with no pedestrian crossing nearby, which was in our opinion one of the scariest things we did in London (no kidding, our heartbeats would fasten every time we cross over). To recover from the shock, we would take a little break from walking to...

London, a dream city

Since young, I have always had London stowed in a special place in my heart because it was my dream city. To me, it has always been a place that looks effortlessly magical and filled with stories that are waiting to be told. Each time I stumbled across a literature or fictional book with the setting in England, I immediately dived into the storyline while noticing the lines that describe every single detail of the surrounding, picturing in my mind how it would actually look back in history. That was how strong my enthusiasm for England was in general, I was looking forward to the day when I will set my foot onto this land filled with magic and youthful...
